LDAPA is an advocacy organization dedicated to helping children and adults with learning disabilities and other related neurological disorders.

VISION

LDAPA strives to:

Encourage the early identification and appropriate remediation of students with learning disabilities;

Help parents, professionals, and service providers to work effectively with individuals with learning disabilities;

Advocate for new services and assist in the enhancement of existing programs on the local, state, and national levels;

Provide emotional support and assistance to individuals with learning disabilities and their families;

Assist concerned individuals to organize their efforts within the community to enhance the lives of children and adults with learning disabilities; and

Work cooperatively with other organizations, agencies, and schools in bringing about changes that will have a favorable impact on the lives of all individuals with disabilities.
